Jungian Therapy | Deep Psychology

There are things within us that we know. Others, we simply feel. There are those we sense intuitively, without yet understanding them. And then there is an entire inner world that remains to be discovered.

Why start therapy?

Starting therapy does not mean that there is something that needs to be fixed. Above all, therapy is a space for getting to know oneself more deeply, for turning towards those parts in us that often remain unseen, yet influence our choices and reactions without us being fully aware of them.

It is a safe space to meet yourself, to explore your decisions, motivations, vulnerabilities, and strengths. A space to reflect on challenges, patterns, and conflicts, where different possibilities can be considered with greater awareness.

Therapy is not a space for ready-made answers or predetermined paths. Within the Analytical Psychology approach, the therapeutic process does not offer formulas, but instead creates fertile ground for each person to discover their own sense of meaning.

The path takes shape as we walk on it together, towards a life that feels authentic, meaningful and free.

About me

Before being a therapist, I have been in many places.

My own search for “Who am I?” and “What do I do?” brought me to this point.

After some time feeling a sense of emptiness in my work as an engineer, I found in Deep Psychology and in the path of self-discovery a possibility of meaning that resonated both within me and with the world around me. Along this journey, I learned that there are no right answers or a single correct path, I learned that continuous movement is a way of living life through its possibilities.

I changed direction, started again, changed careers, and learned that alongside “who I am” and “what I do”, “how I do it” matters enormously.

I hold a specialization in Analytical Psychology from IJEP – Instituto Junguiano de Ensino e Pesquisa, and I continue to deepen my practice through ongoing study, supervision, and professional training.

I have a multicultural background, I am Brazilian and have lived in the Netherlands since 2018. This intercultural experience continually enriches the way I see the world, cultures, human relationships, and the many possibilities of being and living.

Today, it is from this personal, professional, and multicultural journey that I meet each person who comes to therapy, with the awareness that we are all different, and that there are many possible ways of living and creating a life that feels meaningful.

The process

How it works

  1. 1

    First contact

    After you contact me via WhatsApp or the registration form, we arrange a free 30-minute online consultation. This initial meeting is an opportunity to understand what brings you to therapy and to talk about the therapeutic process.

  2. 2

    Free initial consultation

    In this first meeting, you can tell me what motivates you to begin therapy, what has brought you here, and what you are looking for. I will explain how I work and introduce you to the approach I use. We will also discuss session frequency, fees, cancellations and rescheduling, and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

    After this session, we decide together whether it feels appropriate to continue. If so, you will complete the registration form and we will schedule your regular sessions.

  3. 3

    Regular sessions

    Sessions are held online and last approximately 50 minutes. They can take place weekly or every other week.

    Sessions unfold organically, according to what you bring into them: dreams, perceptions, experiences, conflicts, suffering, and achievements. This is a space where you can explore in a safe and supportive way what emerges within you, including aspects of your unconscious. Through deep and attentive listening and using the Jungian approach, we explore more deeply what emerges in each session.

  4. 4

    A safe and individual space

    Everything discussed in therapy is confidential, creating a safe and non-judgmental space. Therapy is conducted with ethics, respect, confidentiality, and attention to the individuality and unique circumstances of each person.

Possibilities

Who is therapy for?

Therapy is for anyone who wishes to know themselves more deeply, understand the patterns that shape their lives, and move closer to questions that continue to emerge in different forms.

Therapy can be particularly meaningful for people who:

  • Are going through a career transition or questioning the professional path they have chosen;
  • Are experiencing crises or periods of transition, when old values and standards no longer seem sufficient;
  • Notice repeating patterns in their choices, relationships, or behaviours and wish to understand them more deeply;
  • Feel disconnected from themselves, their desires, or what gives meaning to their lives;
  • Want to better understand who they are, what they want, and what feels meaningful to them;
  • Experience a lack of meaning or direction, even when, outwardly, life seems to be going well;
  • Are going through a grieving process, following a loss or a change that has transformed their relationship with themselves, others, or life itself;
  • Live abroad and are navigating the challenges of cultural adaptation, belonging, and building a new way of being in the world.
